Sensex opened in a positive note at 11325 and did very well and touched an all time high of 11356. There was short covering seen at the ending hours of the trade, lot of traders booked profits which got the sensex down by 27 points to close at 11297. BSE MidCap gained by 1.8% to close at 5385 up 99 points . BSE SmallCap also did well to close up by 1% at 6591.
Nifty closed down by 16 points to close at 3402. CNX Nifty Junior was up 2% to close at 6412 up 146 points.

Indian Stock Market - Morning Update (Friday)
Market has started in a very good mood , the buying Speer is on and the sensex is inching towards yet another new height Sensex is at 11345 up 38 points, nifty is up 3 points at 3422.
Global markets were good today, this would have definitely fueled the trading today.
It would be good if the market closes in green today, since it's the last day of the week and last trading day of the month of March.

Sensex opened in a positive note at 1100 but later part of the day saw selling pressure across the board and finally closed almost flat at 11086 up 7 points. BSE MidCap,Small Cap were down by > 05.% . Nifty closed up 3 points to close at 3325.

Sensex creates another History, 11,000 / 11K
Sensex today not only crossed but also closed well above the 11K mark. The day opened on a positive note and within minutes of the trading session the sensex crossed the 11,000 / 11K mark, the days high was 11,101 and it finally closed at 11079 a gain of 128 points or 1.18%. The BSE MidCap and SmallCap indices also were up by 1%.
Nifty also gained about 1.2% to close at 3321 .

Indian Stock Market - Morning Update (Monday)
Friday : NSE and BSE closed at all time high on friday and just about 50 points to touch 11K mark. On firday Dow and Nasdaq also closed in the green. Most of the global markets were looking good.
Monday : Today the asias markets are looking strong, Nikkei is up 128 points and even Thaiwan is looking good. This is good news for Indian market with this positive strength and with the momentum that was seen on friday we can expect that Sensex will close above the 11K mark today.

wow!! what a positive day for the stock market , it opened in a positive note and even better closed at new high.
Sensex - 10941 closed up 81 points
Nifty - 3265 up 31 points
MTNL gained by 6.3% to close at 174, SAIL had a good move the stock closed at 68.65 up by 5.2%.
Market seems to have starts stocks every week or two , for this week it has been Zee tele who has been having a bull run since last week, zee closed at 247 up by 6.2% , the other starts of the day were wipro which closed at 544 a gain of about 4.5% , evem Infosys was up by 3% and closed at 2966.

Sensex - 10941 closed up 81 points
Nifty - 3265 up 31 points
MTNL gained by 6.3% to close at 174, SAIL had a good move the stock closed at 68.65 up by 5.2%.
Market seems to have starts stocks every week or two , for this week it has been Zee tele who has been having a bull run since last week, zee closed at 247 up by 6.2% , the other starts of the day were wipro which closed at 544 a gain of about 4.5% , evem Infosys was up by 3% and closed at 2966.
The positive market seems to be in a mood of touching the 11000 mark this week, lets wait and watch :)

Indian Stock Market - Update
Both the Indices have been up since the open of the market, at present 11:45 IST
BSE Sensex is up 75 points at 10,935
and
Nifty is up about 26 points at 3,260
CNX IT index is up by 1.48% at 4205 , wipro is up about 2.5% at 533
The start of the day so far has been Zee Tele which was up
since the start of trading house and at one point surged it's 52-week high (256.95 was the days peak) and came down marginally, presently it is trading at 246 up 5.8%

Friday: Indian Stock Market Update
Today Market touched yet another historic high of about 10940 and then towards the end of the day , it came down by 18 points to close at 10860. Broadbased selling at the end of the session bought the sensex down.
Nifty closed up 7 points at 3234.
Todays top gainer:
zee tele 5%
Hindalco 1.8%
Tata motors 1.6%
Other gainers were ONGC and IPCL
Todays losers:
Sail,Bharthi Tele,Infosys,HLL and Gujrat Ambuja were among the top losers.
Oil and metal sectors were the gainers today.
Now we have to wait and see if market creates history in next week.

Daily Market Update
Sensex and Nifty both ended flat , Sensex closed 7% down and Nifty about 2% down. Banking and FMGC sectors did well. Again there was lot of swing seen in market in yesterdays trade, initially Sensex went up by about 50% and then again came down. Looks like 10800 is a kind of hard barrier for Sensex, we will have to wait and watch what happens today.

Daily Market Update and Days Forecast
Yesterday market had a rollar coaster ride with huge swings , at one point Sensex even touched the historic 10850 mark and then came down. At the end of the day Sensex closed UP 38 points.
The IT sector had a good run yesterday with TCS,Wipro & Satyam seeing huge gains.
Big question for today is will the Sensex hit another historical mark 11000, will that happen today we have to wait and watch.

Sensex and Niftl are at All time High
Sensex and Nifty are at all time high , Sensex closed at 10765 and Nifty closed at 3183 on friday 10-Mar-2006. On firday the best gains were seen in IT sector (after a long time).
