Yet another volatile day in dalal street, Sensex down by 24 points
Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed up today except Sensex. Hang Seng closed up +0.62%, TSEC closed up +0.37%%, Nikkei closed up +1.69% and Sensex closed down -0.21%%.
The European market closed down by -0.18%.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened with a positive note but in lines with yseterday's trading, it was choppy and very volatile. Sensex was taking swings in positive and negative zone. Finally closed down at 11,699.05 by -24.87or -0.21%.
- BSE Metal dropped by -1.55%% , BSE Oil&Gas dropped by -1.11% & BSE PSU was down by -0.93%, While BSE SmallCap closed down -1.21% and BSE MidCap closed down by -0.88%.

FMCG Stocks Rally, Sensex up 130 points
Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed up today. Hang Seng closed up +1.75%, TSEC closed up +1%, Nikkei closed up +1.24% and Sensex closed up +1.18%.
The European market closed flat.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened with a negative note and touched days low of 10,939.
Some buying support came in at lower levels which saw the index rebound into positive zone. Buying gained momentum in early noon deals, and the index rallied to a high of 11,188 - up 249 points from the day's low.
Some profit-taking towards the close saw the index end with a gain of +130 points at 11,145.
- BSE FMCG surged up +2.24%, BSE Metal gained by +2% , BSE Auto gained by +1.92%, While BSE SmallCap closed up +1.66% and BSE MidCap closed up +1.99%.
- Out of the total 2477 stocks traded today 731 declined, 1668 advanced and 78 were unchanged.

Dalal Street breaks the barrier finally, closes above 11000
Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed up today. Hang Seng closed up +0.56%, TSEC closed up +1.33%, Nikkei closed up +2% and Sensex closed up +1.87%.
The European market closed up +0.37%.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened positively with encouraging Asian cues and it continued to move up and had a good one hour rally to close the day at 11,014 up 202 or 1.87%. Banking Stocks lead the rally.
- BSE BANKEX surged up +3.24%, BSE Oil&Gas gained by +2.14% , While BSE SmallCap closed up +1.59% and BSE MidCap closed up +1.18%.
- Out of the total 2513 stocks traded today 818 declined, 1613 advanced and 82 were unchanged.

The global cues are looking mixed this morning, US markets closed down Yesterday, Oil closed above $75.
Down closed down -0.19% and Nasdaq closed down -0.60%.
This morning the Asian markets are trading firm, currently Hang Seng is up +0.30%, Nikkei is up +1.14% and TSEC is marginally up by +0.70%.

Choppy day in dalal street, manages to close up 7 points
Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed down today. Hang Seng closed down -0.35%, TSEC closed down -0.20%, Nikkei closed down -0.10% and Sensex closed up +0.07%.
The European market closed up +0.13%.
Indian Market:
With positive negative global cues coming in , Sensex opened in negative zone and was down at 10,738 but it soon recovered and jumped to days high of 10,777 , but could not sustain the gains and soon slipped in to negative zone, the rest of the trading was very choppy and touched days low of 10,645, untill 03:00 when the news came in that Fitch upgrading India's rating to investment grade which pulled back sensex in postitive zone to end the day at 10,751 up +7.78 or 0.07.
- BSE Metal slipped down -1.32%, BSE BANKEX dropped by -0.83%, BSE IT & Oil&Gas gained by +0.22% each , While BSE SmallCap closed down -0.36% and BSE MidCap closed down -0.47%.
- Out of the total 2491 stocks traded today 1299 declined, 1106 advanced and 86 were unchanged.
