Sensex creates history again, it crossed 11,500 mark at about 14:00 IST and is now at 11,507 up 2.1% +227 points.
There were few corporate announcements which fueled the market:
- RIL says several intl majors have approached for strategic tie-up with RPL
RIL is up 3.5% at 823 +27
- BHEL announced a (FY06) turnover of Rs 14,410 Cr
BHEL is up 2.5% at 2298 +56
- BEL earlier announced life time high profits of Rs 35,610 million
BEL is up 1.7% at 1347 +22
- Merrill Lynch has given a buy call on Infosys with a price target of Rs 3700
Infosys is up 4.9% at 3,129 +147 (Infosys has trading at 52-week high)
