FII selling triggers fall in Dalal street, Sensex sheds 368 points

Global Markets:
The Asian markets down today, lead by a fall in global commodity prices . Hang Seng closed down -1.15%, TSEC closed flat, Nikkei closed down by -1.78% and Sensex closed down by -3.09%.
The European market closed down by -0.61%.

Indian Market:
Sensex opened in a positive note and jumped by 50 points in the early trading hours, but it soon slipped in to negative zone and continued to slide throughtout the day. Sensex finally closed down -367.96 or -3.09 at 11,550.

- Heavy selling by FIIs in the derivatives segment in the last two days was the major factor affecting on market.

- BSE Metal slipped by -5% , BSE FMCG dropped by -3.62% & BSE Auto Dropped by -3.22% and BSE Oil&Gas slidded by -3.06%, While BSE SmallCap closed down -3.15% and BSE MidCap closed down by -3.21%.

- Few Stocks which took heavy beating were Reliance Industries, Grasim Industries, Infosys Technologies, BHEL, HDFC Bank, HDFC, Tata Motors, Maruti Udyog, Tata Steel, Bajaj Auto, Reliance Energy, State Bank of India, ACC and Hindustan Lever.
