Sensex back in 12,000 range, up 138 points

Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed mixed today. Hang Seng closed up +0.96%, Nikkei closed down -0.98%, TSEC closed down -0.06% and Sensex closed up +1.16%.
The European market is up at +0.15%.

Indian Market:
The Sensex opened in a negative note and was down by 25 points and went down for a days low of 11,834, but recovered slowly from noon. The last 40 mins of trade saw good buying in select stocks which pushed Sensex to the days high of 12,129 and finally closed above 12,000 at 12,109.14 up +138.67 or +1.16%.

- Nifty closed at 3,502.80 up +45.45 or +1.31%.
- Nifty IT surged by +1% and CNX 100 jumped by +1.21%
- BSE TecK surged by +1.62%, BSE Auto gained by +1.10%,BSE Metal,FMCG & BSE Oil&Gas gained by +1 each
- BSE MidCap gained by +0.24% and BSE SmallCap gained by 0.47%.
