Dalal Street rocks,gains 514 points

Global Markets:
Most of the Asian and European markets closed in GREEN today , bringing some good news for investors during the weekend.FTSE 100 closed up +78.40 or +1.41% at 5,641, Nikkei closed up +117.81 or +0.81%. Taiwan Index closed up almost +2%.

Indian Market:
Sensex finally closed up for the first time in this week :) and also had a historic gain of highest single day gain of 514 points.

Sensex opened with negative gap of 26 points and later touched the days low of 9,262, after which there was lot of buying interest seen and soon Sensex fell in the positive zone and this buying trend continued for the rest of the trading session and Sensex closed in historic single day gain.
Sensex closed up +514 points or +5.54% at 9,810.

All most all Blue chip stocks closed up, Reliance Energy by +14%, Grasim gained by +13%, Reliance Industries by +11.7%. These stock gained heavily in this rally.

ACC,Tata Tea,L&T,Maruti and ITC gained +8-9%.

Among the BSE Indices BSE Oil&Gas was the major gainer with closed at 4,680 up +371 or +8.6%, BSE Metal gained +7%
