Sensex volatile, closes up 108 points

Global Markets:
Asian markets closed marginally in the positive zone,except for Hang Seng which closed down -0.19%, Taiwan Index gained +0.75%, Nikkei Gained +0.13% and Sensex gained +1.08%.

Indian Market:
Global markets were positive when Sensex opened this morning, it opened marginally up and soon touched 10,190 but it could not sustain for long at this level and soon fell in the negative zone by 10:15, from here on Sensex was down for a while and touched days' low of 9,901 at 11:20 , from here on Sensex recovered slowly and fell in the positive zone by 12:00 and the recover started from here on , there was good buying see at these levels and it soon put the Sensex to the day's high of 10,224 at about 02:00. Then again there was some profit booking which pulled Sensex down a bit and finally Sensex closed up +108 points or 1% at 10,151.

BSE SmallCap lost by -1.89% and BSE MidCap lost -1%,while BSE Metal melted gained +2.7% and BSE IT gained +1.9%
Among the Stocks, VSNL gained +9.5%, Tata Steel gained +4.3% and SAIL surged +6.2%.
