Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed mixed. Nikkei,Hang Seng and Jakartha Index were down while SSE,Taiwan Index and Sensex closed in GREEN.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened in a negative note and as day progressed it went up and down , at one point touched the days' low of 9,755 . From noon there was good buying interest seen at lower levels and Sensex started moving up and the support continued and pushed it to a high of 10,049 up 294 points and Sensex finally closed at 9,997 , just 3 points short of 10,000 level.
BSE Metal surged +2.7%, BSE Small & medium cap had good gains today they moved up +2.4% each.

Gainers:
Tata Motors gained +6% at 768. Tata Tea and Cipla gained +5% each. ACC gained +4.7% and Maruthi gained +3.9%.
