Sensex gains, closes above 10,000

Global Markets:
Asian markets closed mixed,while Hang Seng & SSE Index gained Nikkei and Taiwna Index were down.

Indian Market:
Global markets were not very encouraging when Sensex opened this morning, it opened marginally down and soon slipped to day's low of 9753. But soon after this there was good buying seen which lifted the sensex in to positive zone, contiued buying took Sensex to the day's high of 10,054. Sensex finally closed the day up +217 or 2%.
BSE SmallCap surged by +4% and BSE Oil&Gas gained +3%.
