Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed mixed,Hang Seng closed up +0.26%, SSE Composite closed down -0.93%, Nikkei closed up +0.43% and Sensex closed down -0.31%.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened in a high note and soon touched days high of 10,800 , but constant profit booking was seen and it was choppy throughout the day and finally closed down -33 points or -0.31% at 10,662.
It was a day for banking stocks, after a long time they rallied, SBI and HDFC banks had >1% gains.
BSE Bankex moved up +1.18% while BSE FMCG lost -1.9%.
Among the BSE Stocks NTPC gained +3.7%, Dr Reddys moved up +3.26% and HDFC moved up +2.5%
