Infosys beats dalal street expectations, Sensex up 315 points

Global Markets:
The Asian markets closed mixed today. Hang Seng closed up +0.19%, Nikkei closed down -1.45% and Sensex closed up +2.97%.
The european market closed up +0.51%.

Indian Market:
With mixed global market cues and Mumbai bomb blasts, Sensex opened with a negative note and touched days low of 10,549, but soon surged in to the positive zone in getting excepional results from Tech giant Infosys.From here on the market steadely moved up , all tech stocks gained and closed the day at 10,930.09 up +315.74 or +2.97%.

Infosys announced results beating market expectation and also moved the up the guidance of 2007.


BSE IT surged up by +6.27%, BSE TECk gained +5% and BSE Metal and Oil&Gas gained +2.8% each.
