The Asian markets closed mixed today. Hang Seng closed up +0.33%, TSEC closed down -0.13%, Nikkei closed up +0.44% and Sensex closed down -2.15%.
The European market closed up +0.18%.
Indian Market:
With good results from TCS and mixed global cues, Sensex opened in positive note and soon gained 94 points and soon touched days high of 10,408. But selling started in Tech stocks like Wipro & Satyam which dragged the sensex in to negative zone, the selling continued across the board and Sensex plunged to days low of 9,972 , before finally closing just above 10,000 , at 10,007 down -219.44 or -2.15. Weakning Rupee and Raising Oil prices dragged the Market to negative mood today.

- ACC Q2 net zooms
IPO:
- GMR Infra fixes IPO price band of 210-250 Rupees per share

BSE Metal slipped for the second time in a row by -3.95% to close at 7,423, BSE Auto slipped by -3.61%, BSE IT dropped by -3% While BSE SmallCap closed down -3.5% at 4,882 and BSE MidCap closed down -3% at 4,074.
