The Asian markets closed mixed today. Hang Seng closed down -0.13%, TSEC closed up +0.44%, Nikkei closed down -2.75% and Sensex closed down -0.65%.
The european market closed down -0.48%.
Indian Market:
Sensex opened with a positive note and soon moved up to the days high of 10,406, from here on short sellings started and Sensex plunged in to the negative zone, this intensified further between 01:00 and 02:00 , at this point Sensex touched days low of 10,150. There was some buying support at these levels which lifted the Sensex and it managed to close at 10,226.78 down -66.44 or -0.65%.

BSE Metal slipped by -3.26% to close at 7,728, BSE Oil&Gas slipped by -1.66%, BSE SmallCap closed down -2.26% at 5,059 and BSE MidCap closed down -1.53 at 4,200.
